Who we are

ConsultHub UAE ("ConsultHub", "we", "us") operates a subscription-based, verified consultant marketplace for the United Arab Emirates. We are a discovery platform, not an agency: clients find vetted consultants and contact them directly. You can reach us at hello@consulthub.ae.

Information we collect

Consultant profiles: information consultants provide for their public listing (name, professional title, services, credentials, languages, contact details, and any licence details we verify).

Contact events: when you use the Call, Email, or WhatsApp actions on a profile, we log that a contact occurred — which consultant, which channel, a timestamp, and a one-way hashed form of your IP address (we do not store your raw IP). This powers our reference-code system and verified reviews.

Waitlist and enquiries: if you join a waitlist or email us, we keep the email address and message you provide.

Usage analytics: aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics about how pages are used (via Vercel Analytics and PostHog).

How we use your information

To operate the directory, reveal contact details you request, and generate the reference codes that keep reviews genuine.

To verify that reviews are tied to real interactions, and to moderate content before it is published.

To prevent abuse and rate-limit automated activity.

To understand and improve how the service is used, in aggregate.

Legal basis and UAE data protection

We process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a trustworthy marketplace, to perform services you request, and where required to comply with applicable law. We aim to handle personal data consistently with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. Consultant profile information is public by design. We use trusted service providers to run the platform — including Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database) — who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

Cookies and analytics

We use a minimal set of cookies and privacy-respecting analytics necessary to run the site and understand usage. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact us at hello@consulthub.ae and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data — including hashing IP addresses and gating verification documents behind access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
